Working Remotely: Call Forwarding Refresher

Editor Communications, Technology, Training

Many companies are encouraging remote working due to the Covid-19 Virus, and we’ve seen an uptick in inquiries about call forwarding. For your convenience, the following instructions apply to most of the phone systems that ClearPath Connections installs or services.

Note: These instructions will work for the vast majority of our clients. There may be a few who have a different trunk access code, such a 8 instead of 9, or whose codes have been changed.

To Call Forward All Calls to an outside number, by system:

IPK System: Press the feature button, dial 60, enter 9 plus telephone number, press feature.

IPKII, SV8100, SV9100 Systems:  Press speaker, dial 741, press 1 for Set, enter 9 plus the telephone number, press speaker.

Toshiba CIX:  Press ext button, dial #6013 (tone), enter 9 plus the telephone number, press #(tone).

Additional tips:

  • Cancel Call Forwarding on SV8100, SV9100 Systems:  Press speaker, dial 741, press 0 for end.
  • Voice Mail – forwarded calls have left the original phone system. Calls that are not answered may leave a voice message depending on the setup of the phone it is forwarded to. Make sure the cell or home phone is set up for voicemail, and that the greeting is updated and the mailbox is monitored.

Customer with additional questions are encouraged to reach out to ClearPath’s service hotline – email service@clearpathconnect.com or use the service request link on our homepage. User guides can answer many questions, and can usually be found on the manufacturers’ websites or via a quick google search.
