Twenty years of experience working with parents and families in the long-term care industry taught Dawn James some important lessons. First, the absolute need to protect seniors and vulnerable residents. Second, statistics get personal really fast. Third, it’s hard to keep up with new technology, on one hand, while trying to focus on giving quality care on the other.
Dawn’s experience began with 15 years at GE Medical working with healthcare technology solutions. Following that, she spent 14 years in hospice consulting. Dawn is uniquely positioned to combine her passion for helping seniors and SL Communities use technology to improve the lifestyle experience for residents and enhance the care staff’s ability to meet operational goals and provide better, more efficient care.
